A highly qualified team

Samuel Plumbly is a Political Director with The Shaikh Group (TSG). Prior to joining TSG he worked with the International Organization for Migration, on its humanitarian response to the Syria crisis in Lebanon, and as a senior research assistant at the Brookings Institution’s Doha Center, focused on Egypt and Syria. 

Plumbly has a BA in Arabic and an Mst in Modern Middle Eastern Studies, both from the University of Oxford. He speaks Arabic and has lived and worked in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Qatar.
