Nikos Vasileiadis is the Financial Manager of The Shaikh Group's Track II Syria Initiative.  He is an Electrical Engineering graduate of Democritus University of Thrace in Greece with a MSEE from YSU in Ohio, USA and a MBA from UBI in Brussels, Belgium. Vasileiadis has worked as a Marketing Engineer in leading technological companies in Belgium, as a Project Manager of EU-funded projects in a research institute in Greece, as the Head of Strategy and Management Consulting Department

in a consulting company in Greece and a Programs Manager and Senior Consultant in a leading consulting company in Greece. During his professional career he gained significant experience in program and project management as well as in the financial management of EU-funded, cross-border cooperation projects and projects funded by structural funds.

The topics of the projects he managed concern  microfinance, access-to-finance for SMEs, urban development, entrepreneurship and innovation, energy efficiency, smart specialization policies, tourism and cultural development, and other topics linked to sustainable development and financial tools.
